Open Day Goes off with a BANG

Cessnock Rifle Club held their annual open day on Sunday 6 July. Proudly sponsored by Harris Wheeler the event attracted amateurs and professionals from around the Hunter.
The event, organised by committed members of the club, is the one day a year when those who are not licensed to use a firearm can have a go at the age old sport of target shooting.
Held in conjunction with the Hunter Festival of Sport the event was superbly executed and enjoyed by all in attendance.
After a great morning of shooting, major long-term sponsor, Harris Wheeler provided a BBQ lunch for all.
A hot lunch brought the perfect end to a great day on the range.
